2020 Atlanta Symphony & Atlanta Magazine Designer Showhouse

Last weekend I volunteered for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Designer Showhouse (in partnership with Atlanta Magazine and Atlanta HOME) and it was incredible!

As a lover of architecture and interior design, I was in hog heaven. **Not sure if I can use that phrase for homes but I'm doing it anyway*

Designed by Robert Tretsch III, Modern Studio Director of Harrison Design, the 3 floor masterpiece was inspired by a 1945 Atlanta Youth Symphony performance- (pretty cool) and has been open to the public as a way to give back to the orchestra (a portion of ticket proceeds will benefit their education and community engagement programs).

The Home

As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to roam the house and chat with fellow enthusiasts about the unique decor. Filled with open spaces, large windows, and eclectic furnishings, this designer showhouse is the perfect contrast between hygge and clean modern lines.

The most interesting aspect of the home is that each room is perfectly thought of and matched by different interior designers/interior design companies. You can also got some snazzy decor ideas for your own place!!

Tickets

For those in the Atlanta area, the house is open for viewing from Thursday - Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m and on Sundays 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets are available until March 22nd, 2020 for $25.

Note --- there is no parking at the home, but you can always use a ride share service or park at the Shuttle Lot: at 2194 Marietta Blvd NW. Atlanta, GA 30318

The home is located on 2716 Ridgewood Road, Atlanta, GA 30327
